We are offering for sale a HARPERS FERRY 1849 percussion rifle chambered in .69 caliber. This is a fully stocked, fully functioning rifle in good overall condition.
38.5" barrel is good with greyed finish; It looks to be dated 1851 (Or 1854). The bore is oxidized as is normal with a gun of this age. The lock plate remains good with crisp Eagle and "Harpers Ferry 1849" markings. Hammer cocks and fires properly. The original full stock is good with scattered field wear; No breaks or cracks. There middle barrel band has a broken and missing sling loop. Original ramrod intact.
