Description:
This is an outstanding 36 caliber Colts Patent bullet mold for the 1851 Navy Colt Belt Model. The marking are great, very clear. The patina is a mottled gunmetal greyish-brown with very light handling marks. The main ones are on the back, upper part of the mold, which I have pictured clearly. It opens and closes easily. It has the original screw. The cavities are absolutely perfect! It even has the original, fine-finish file marks around the cavities which are seldom still there.
This is a great Civil War collectible.
