The barrels are 28" with nitro re-proved barrels with 2 3/4" chambers (marked 70mm) and excellent bores. The chokes are .009/.018 (about improved cylinder/modified.) The tubes are marked: WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD. LONDON & BIRMINGHAM. The gun locks up tight, and the ejectors are in time. The firing pins are removable. The action features the maker's name, surrounded by excellent border and scroll engraving. The bolstered fore-end has an Anson release. The beautifully figured wood has a few minor scratches, and one series of deeper marks. (See photo.) The stock measures 1 3/8" x 2 1/8" x 14 1/4" over a checkered Bakelite butt-plate.
