"SN: 2269123. Semi-automatic military rifle made by Springfield Armory in late 1943. Standard 24"" barrel chambered for .30-06. Good overall condition with Korean War-era arsenal refinish and rear sight. Stock is stamped with ""1206"" in front of the rear sling swivel, with no other visible cartouches or marks. Stock and handguard have some handling marks and a few small chips. Springfield barrel is dated 8-50, and the ""5"" is struck out. Bore is excellent.
