Selling from a unique collection of near perfect condition long guns, this pristine rifle was manufactured for Weatherby by J.P. Sauer & Sohns in West Germany in early 1960. This gun valut queen has a 24" barrel and features a rare blond straight grained stock with the traditional Weatherby rosewood fore end tip. Wood has no dings or scratches and shows almost no signs of use. Metal is near perfect. A period correct Weatherby 3X-9Xx40 scope is mounted. A stunning rifle. It would be next to impossible to find a 65 year old rifle in better condition.
