The VP40 is the .40 S&W variant of HK’s VP series (VP = “Volkspistole," or “People’s Pistol"). The VP line was introduced in 2014 alongside the VP9. It’s a striker-fired, polymer-frame semi-automatic pistol designed for duty, personal defense, and professional use.
