For sale is a classic U.S. military service rifle: the Remington M1903 Springfield, manufactured in October 1942 in the 3.1M serial range. This example was arsenal re-barreled in February 1944, a standard wartime practice, and remains in outstanding 99% condition.
The rifle comes fitted with the correct WWII sling and retains its circled “P" proof cartouche on the pistol grip, confirming acceptance and proof testing. Together, these details enhance both its historical authenticity and collector appeal.
