Description:
Serial #115189, .38 S&W, 2 ½ inch barrel with a fine bore with slight roughness and good rifling. This is the second model Harrington & Richardson Safety Hammer double action pocket revovler built for smokeless powder from 1905-1939. In near excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 87-90% of the nickel finish which has slightly dulled and shows scattered areas of flaking. The trigger-guard, trigger and hammer show much of the original blue finish. Both grip panels are missing large chips along the bottom back corners. Mechanically it functions with good timing and the usual slight play in the cylinder. FFL or C&R
