32754-EXCELLENT CIVIL WAR AMES MFG. CO., CHICOPEE, MASS. U.S. MODEL 1860 CAVALRY SABER AND SCABBARD. All original and in very superior condition overall. Has the original leather grip wrap and wire in top condition. Unbent brass guard with no alterations just the way it came from the factory. Blade with crisp Ames address and inspection stamp and 1863 date. Blade with much original polish with light handling patina. Super nice scabbard with only one small dent and nice uncleaned original dark patina. Hard to find early Civil War Ames 1860 in this condition and best one we have had in several years. $1950.
