Description:
For sale is a unique, highly figured and gorgeous Mesquite custom stock set made for the Thompson Center Original Contender (aka G1) rifle. The buttstock has a Limbsaver recoil pad and an inlaid brass escutcheon for the stock to frame attachment bolt. There is also a small crack as shown in pictures #4 and #5. I was able to get some 2-part epoxy into it so it has been properly reinforced. The forearm is inletted for Contender Bull Barrels having a no-taper 0.800" diameter. The center-to-center (CTC) hole spacing for the forend attachment screws is the standard 3.5" used by Thompson Center. Price is $500.00 + $30.00 Shipping, fully insured.
