Description:
Winchester Model 1892 in .38 W.C.F. (38-40).
Made in 1899. 24" round barrel with original sights.
Bore is in amazing condition for its age, 9 1/2 out of 10.
There is an extra pluged screw hole on each side of the receiver.
The one on the left side may have been used to secure a #21 Lyman receiver sight.
Who knows the reason for the one on the right. Both do NOT go through the reveiver, and are bottom threaded.
Wood and metal are in ecxellent condition. Everything works perfectly.
