Used Dennis E. Olson (Montana Mountain Rifle) custom .270 Winchester on a tang safety Ruger M77 action. Length of pull of 13 ¾” to a black rubber recoil pad.

Barrel marked “Montana Mountain Rifle” and “270”. Prince of Wales stock, blind magazine, pancake cheekpiece, Pachmayr flush mount sling swivel studs, one inch scope rings, and borderless checkering on the wrist and forend. The angled front action screw on the recoil lug has been moved back to the base of the action and is no longer at an angle. The action is heavily modified to reduce weight.

Blued action, barrel, and furniture. The rifle remains in excellent condition. Crisp checkering and the honey-colored exhibition grade walnut stock is in very good condition with sign of field use. Excellent bluing on the barrel. Excellent bore with sharp and crisp lands.
