This gun is in nice condition and comes with a nice custom leather holster and 2 magazines included. This gun appears in good condition and seems to be fully functional with no damage noticeable (See Pictures). Basic white dot front and rear sites.
Overview:
The first generation (“Shield 1.0") of the M&P Shield in 9mm is a subcompact, single-stack, striker-fired pistol from Smith & Wesson, aimed at concealed carry.
It is relatively minimal in features: simple sights, optional safety, no built-in rail for lights/lasers, etc.
The slim single-stack design with ~1? width makes it easier to conceal than double-stacks or larger pistols.
The Shield 1.0 has a good reputation for reliability, especially for carry and defensive shooting distances.
Having 7 or 8 rounds in a gun of that size is considered a fair trade-off between capacity and concealability.
Because it omits some of the more “fancy" extras, there’s less to go wrong. Fewer moving parts or gadgets keep cost, maintenance, and failure points lower.
