Black Rain Fallout 15 – 5.56 NATO – 16" Barrel – w/ Vortex Optic – Like New
Black Rain Ordnance (or BRO) makes their high quality American made rifles at their facility in Neosho, MO. Their precision machined rifles have tight fits and, let’s be honest, they just look good as well.
This Fallout 15 rifle comes to us as a consignment sale. It carries serial number 054975. Black Rain Ordnance has a lot of unique finish colors so we’re not sure if this is the Smoke or Tungsten color. The pictures do a good job of showing the actual color so we’ll let you decide.
The receiver is billet aluminum, the charging handle is a Spec 15 forged handle and the flash suppressor is an A2 type. Grip and stock are from Magpul and the handguard is a 15 inch M-LOK slim version. One note that we’d like to add . . . when a rifle has very tight tolerances, it needs to be well lubricated. Don’t run this rifle in a “bond dry" condition and you’ll be happy with your results.
While we’re sure that this rifle has likely been fired, we don’t see much evidence of use. The bore is clean and the barrel is very bright. Finish and furniture all appear to be in Like New condition.
Already mounted on the rifle is a Vortex SPARC AR red dot. The optic, just like the rifle, looks LIKE NEW on the exterior. The dot is clear and crisp and the brightness controls function as they should.
These are not inexpensive rifles. If you’ve been looking at Black Rain Ordnance or if you’ve been to theirsite, you already know this. This rifle and red dot are priced to sell and at a really great price. Save some money and purchase Like New instead of new in box. We think that you’ll be happy that you did.
