This Merkel Model Side by Side is a rifle in .375 H&H Magnum Cal. It has 24 inch barrels with a quarter rib and positive extractors. A raised blade front sight and a two position folding express sight middle. It has double triggers. The butt stock is a checkered grip walnut pistol grip with a raised cheekpiece and black cap. The forearm is a checkered grip walnut splinter style. The coin finish receiver is masterfully engraved with a rhinoceros and a lion in outdoor scenes. The left side is signed S. Henke. .375 H&H Magnum
