This is an Astra 900. It is one of approxomately 500 pistols sent to Nazi Germany in 1943, (Ref: Antaris' book,Astra Automatic Pistols.)
This is an extremely rare Spanish/German Pistol! This example is totally original, complete with German Waffenamt marked holster carrier (cxb 1941 WaA 47) We have never seen one in this condition, especially not Chinese returned to the US and rebuilt and reblued..This one is as made with no after production modifications. Bright original Spanish rust blue, with only some small spots around the grip frame that do not detract from the overall appearance. All of the unblued parts are as made, with very little use. The bore is very nice, with only slight use. This is a rely encountered Spanish pistol in excellent condition. The stock is matching, with very little use, the pistol tis perfectly and the carrier is like new with only slight wear---it fits the stock as intended with no problems. The automatic listing of caliber is incorrect and not possible to change--this weapon is intended for the 7.62x25mm Mauser Cartidge only, Tokarev ammo is a bit hot for this fine weapon!
