Description:
1945 Hi-Standard H-D Military .22 Pistol w/ 10rnd magazine.

Originally, this pistol belonged to Erling Hagfeldt, a US Army soldier and sharpshooter deployed during WWII. At one point, he is known to have served with the Bastards of Bastogne.

It is believed that Erl had the pistol engraved while in Germany by a German artisan during WWII or shortly thereafter before returning to the states. Engravings are consistent with other similarly engraved firearms from him and others during the war in Germany.

The Hi-Standard H-D Military is equipped with  specialized grips.

Following the war, Erl remained active in competition marksmanship earning many awards with various firearms, including Target pistol.
