This is a \"JM\" stamped Marlin lever action rifle chambered in 30-30. It was manufactured in 1977. The condition of this gun is \"fair\" to \"good\". The action works well and cycles as it should. The rifling in the bore is perfect. However, the exterior needs some TLC. The wood has several scratches and dings, nothing very deep, but a lot of marks. The color of the wood changes - it is light in some areas and dark in other areas. The metal surfaces are scuffed and showing signs of pitting. The butt stock is missing the sling post.
This firearm is a classic. It would be a good one to restore, or it‚s a shooter as is and no fear of scratching it up.
