This Colt 1917 US Army .45 Colt Revolver is in very good condition. Serial# 165186 dates to 1918. The 1917 revolver was made to supplement the 1911 during World War 1. Both Smith & Wesson and Colt produced these revolvers for the war. Essentially taking their heavy framed revolvers and adapting them to fire the .45 ACP cartridge. No box. .45 Colt
