Miroku MK38 Sport Over/Under, 12 Ga, 30" Barrels
Miroku MK38 Sport Over/Under in 12 Ga, a Japanese-made sporting shotgun known for precise barrel regulation, durable build quality, and smooth, balanced handling.
Designed to deliver consistent patterns and pointability for competition use, it pairs refined machining with classic walnut stocking for a confident, repeatable mount.
Overall condition is really good to excellent. Wood shows an appealing deep brown tone with very few handling marks; a very small indent on the left side of the stock is only visible in the right light. Checkering on the stock and Schnabel fore-end remains sharp, and the original Miroku rubber recoil pad is present. The fore-end had a small crack where the wood meets the metal that was professionally repaired and is now very difficult to see—the price has been set with this in mind. Barrels are in great shape with bluing retained and only light wear toward the muzzle; a white bead sight tops the ventilated parallel 10 mm rib. This 1995 Japan-made example has 30" barrels with 2 1/2" chambers and fixed chokes (Bottom: Cyl / Upper: Mod), measures 47" overall, and is stocked in wood with a pistol grip and slight right cast. It carries a single trigger, manual safety with barrel selector, and ejectors firing well. Dimensions are LOP 14 5/8", LOP to wood 13 3/4", DAC 1 1/2", DAH 1 7/8", and weight is 7 2/5 lbs.
