Early serial #65,159, with all matching numbers throughout. Made in 1857, all original and complete. This early U.S. Colt Army has fine metal, markings & edges throughout. It is marked with a "U.S." on the frame and is fully U.S. sub inspected. It has a full cylinder scene on it. All of the metal on the revolver has an even natural darkening patina throughout it. The brass trigger guard and backstrap are very good throughout. All the screws in the revolver are very good with the sama patina as the metal. The original early wood grips are fine throughout and retain a clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouche on both sides. The action is very goodin the revolver.
