An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Joslyn Model 1862 Percussion Carbine In Very Nice & Untouched Condition. Serial #1,918 with all matching numbers. Only 2,200 were mase for the U.S. in the Civil War. The carbine has fine metal, markings and edges. All of the metal on the carbine has an even & natural darkened patina throughout it. The brass trigger guard, barrel band, and butt plate are all in nice condition. The wood is fine throughout and there are clear "U.S. Inspectors Cartouches" on the backside opposite the lock. The carbine has a fine action and bore. This Is A Fine Example Of An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Joslyn Model 1862 Percussion Carbine. These Early Model 1862 Joslyn Carbines Are Very Tough To Find In This Condition!
