Description:
Serial #(Series 5) 79090, 6.5mm Arisaka, 19" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of freckling within the grooves. This is a good looking carbine that has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, safety, firing pin, and nosecap (the extractor is unmarked). The metal retains 85-90% of the original blue finish, with mild freckling along the receiver and barrel, silvering along the exposed edges and bearing surfaces of both the receiver and bolt, and some further plum-brown freckling along the floorplate and trigger guard. The markings are clear, however the Imperial Chrysanthemum has been defaced on the receiver. The stock and handguard are in very good shape, with numerous small handling marks and bruises scattered about the added military oil finish throughout. This is a nice Japanese carbine, and is in very good plus condition overall. FFL or C&R;
