Description:
Military Mauser action which has been modified by machining the front receiver ring, leaving the top as a square bridge. I don't know who did the work but Apex Rifle Company did similar modifications when they were in business. The stripper clip hump has been removed and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The trigger has been replaced with a fully adjustable one, looks like a Timney but is unmarked. And a low swing safety installed. Overall the action is in VG condition, please see photos. Not shown are the magazine spring and follower, no bottom metal. The Mauser model is removed but from the words on the side wall it is a 1909 Argentine.
