"Serial No. 25669, manufactured circa 1949–1961, 8mm, 23½" round barrel. This is a well-preserved example of the Egyptian-contract FN-49, produced by Fabrique Nationale for the Egyptian military following World War II. Metal finish has thinned to a light grey patina, particularly around the barrel, consistent with age and moderate use. Serial numbers are matching, indicating original configuration. The stock shows light handling and storage impressions, but remains solid and structurally sound. Action is smooth and functions correctly, and all external markings remain clear.
