"Serial No. ch7965, manufactured in 1943 by Izhevsk Arsenal, 7.62x54R, 29" round barrel. Rifle has been converted to a PU sniper configuration. Bolt is unnumbered, buttstock has been force-matched, and scope mount is unmarked. Right side of the receiver bears import marking. Stock is in good condition with expected handling marks. Action is smooth, and optics are clear and bright. A solid example of a wartime PU sniper conversion, combining WWII production with later arsenal modifications.
