.40-70 caliber, 32" part octagon barrel. Casehardened tip-up lever actuated action with external hammer. Deluxe checkered forend and pistol grip buttstock ending with a nickel Swiss buttplate. Mint bore. Globe front sight and contemporary Soule windage and elevation adjustable tang sight. In superb original condition with the barrel retaining nearly all of the blue, excellent case colors remaining on the receiver fading just slightly. Beautiful wood and varnish.
