WINCHESTER MODEL 70 PRE-64 SUPER GRADE made in 1952 in .270 Winchester caliber, 24" barrel with bright glossy bore, scope base with 1" rings, original open sights with front hood, original butt plate, very nice checkered walnut pistol grip Monte Carlo stock/forearm with black Bakelite tip. The overall length of this rifle is 44 1/2 inches, the LOP is 13 1/2 inches and the overall condition is excellent including factory original sling swivels and factory butt plate. The serial number is 211017 with matching serial number bolt. The .270 Winchester cartridge is available in 62 different loadings indicating why it is the most popular nonmilitary caliber sold in the USA. This iconic masterpiece is good for another 73 years!
