A phenomenal pre war ORIGINAL shotgun. The address Is Bristol & 35 Saville Row, London. Housed in a great leather trunk case with brass corners (see attached picture) The condition is outstanding retaining almost 100% blue on the barrels, case coloring is around 65%, wood oil finish around 96% The chokes are R. Weak IC. L. Full.Instead of chopper-lump barrels, Gibbs uses through-lump barrels a stronger way of putting barrels together. The gun is extremely tight for use, dissambley and assembly.
The case has been refined to new condition.
Engraving is elegant and about 80% coverage.
