Springfield 1903 Sporterized by American Custom Gunmakers Guild members Gary Goudy who crafted the stock (marked and dated 1991 in the barrel channel) and Herman Waldron who did the metal work. This rifle has a cut rifled Krieger barrel with 1-10" twist, checkered bolt, jeweled bolt body and magazine follower, Ed LaPour three position safety, Timney grooved adjustable trigger, Sunny Hill bottom metal with straddle floor plate and trigger bow release, steel grip cap, Grade-AAA English Walnut stock with pancake cheekpiece and beaded shadow line, Dakota inletted sling studs, Ebony forend tip, 28 LPI checkering, 13 7/8" over a leather covered recoil pad. According to the owner, his most accurate load was using a Nosler case, CCI primer, 45.5 grs of IMR 4350 and a 100 gr Nosler Partition set to 2.950" OAL.
