The whole is cased in an original leather cornered Canvas trunk with original trade labels. This piece handles and points with ease and is the ideal light upland gun at 6 lbs. 6 oz. for those that want a very attractive priced English game gun.

This gun is marked Holland & Holland, 98 New Bond Street. This piece most likely was made by A. A. Brown in Birmingham in 1959 for H&H to be sold out of London. Later in 1979 Webley & Scott became W & C Scott Gunmakers Ltd. Then in 1985 Holland & Holland acquired the Scott name and now had a factory in Birmingham. With this acquisition they now had skilled craftsmen to provide a supply of quality boxlock game guns.
