"SN: 47700A. Made in 1936, 257 Roberts with a 24" barrel. Bore is excellent. Bolt action rifle in desirable .257 Roberts cal. The metal is in good condition with some light wear and slight discoloration around the filler screws where it once had a vintage style scope mount on the rear of the barrel and rear bridge of the receiver. The stock is in good overall condition with some light wear and has been professionally filled where it was inlet for a Lyman style sight, and has a period correct Jostam red recoil pad. Comes with a Redfield 3-9 variable scope. A good looking classic rifle in a great caliber.
