Fall Special Mossberg 930 12 GA Semi-Auto Shotgun W/Tactical Laser
Offered here as a fall special is this excellent semi-auto tactical/home security special shotgun with 18½" cylinder bore barrel in matte black, synthetic stock. Manufactured circa 2015. The shotgun, used for home security by the former owner shows very little if any use. It comes with a fine inline Insight M6 combination white light + visible (red) laser module powered by two 3V “123” lithium batteries (i.e. CR123-type) giving run time around 60 minutes continuous use. The unit is typically waterproof to around 66 feet (20 m) (in many specifications).
The laser’s windage / elevation can be adjusted via small screws (Allen screws) to zero it to the firearm’s point of impact. There is a selector (mode) switch with positions such as: Lock-Out (off), Laser-Only, White Light Only, and both Laser + Light combined. Activation is by a rocker (ambidextrous) or toggle switch (on the backplate). It typically allows two modes of operation:
• Momentary: press — light/laser comes on, release — it goes off
• Continuous (constant-on): lock the switch to keep it on until toggled off.
The laser/illuminator allows you to more quickly identify and aim at a target under low light, without relying only on iron sights (if present) or ambient light.
The unit is in essentially new condition however it would appear to need new batteries.
Once acquired we would suggest:
1. Check and replace batteries in the laser/illuminator
2. Verify and re-zero the laser on a safe range
3. Inspect and clean the firearm’s internals (gas rings, barrel, etc.)
4. Try different shell loads (light, medium, heavy) to ensure reliable cycling
An excellent tactical/home defense/security weapon.
