Description:
Here we have a rarely found Harpery Ferry rifle in very nice condition. The gun has a safety half cock and full cock lock both work. Comes with ram rod . The 1811 is a rare rifle. Its soft light barrel is very attractive against the wood. The cartouch on the lock is very fine and the stamp on top of the barrel clear.. Some damage behind the lock plate as shown. The barrel measures .750 at the muzzle although is very well could drop to .69 down inside. There isn't a lot of information on these models. Pictures do n ot do the gun justice , more pictures available. 3 days into a total knee replacement so please be curteous.
