Spanish Hammergun Sidelock Side by Side in 12 Ga, a classic field shotgun that blends traditional external hammers with lively balance for instinctive shooting.
It wears a solid tapered rib, double triggers, and a wooden pistol grip stock for confident control, while an IM/IM choke pairing favors tight, decisive patterns when reach and density matter.
Is in great overall condition. A minor distraction is the recoil pad secured with a wood screw at the toe of the stock. .
Barrels are in great shape with very light bluing wear, complemented by nice scroll engraving on the case and fence and a brass bead sight. Backaction locks, rebounding hammers, a top lever, and extractor operation are present as expected. Dating to 1950 in Spain, this example measures 27 1/2” barrels, 2 ¾" chambers, overall length 45 ½”. Stock dimensions include neutral cast, LOP 15”, LOP to wood 14 1/2”.
