Description:
This is a nice example of a Walther-made, "ac 44"-coded P.38. The left side of the slide is marked "P.38, "7941 C" and "ac 44". The right is marked with a single eagle over "359". The left of the frame is marked "7943" and with eagle over "359" waffenamt above the trigger guard. The front face of the barrel assembly is marked "7943 C" and the right is marked with a punch mark. The right of the locking block is marked with an eagle over "359" waffenamt. The left side of the barrel block is marked with an eagle over "359". The front sight is a dovetailed blade marked "4" on the left. The rear sight is a "U"-notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The grips are the 2nd variation serrated black synthetic panels. These 2nd variation Walther grips are both marked V7/31. This has a single 8 round magazine marked on the right with "P38 U" and "jvd" on the left. 9mm Parabellum
