"Serial number 4606. Made in 1864. 44 RF caliber with a 24.25" barrel. This is a sharp reasonably sharp first model Henry rifle. The barrel has a dark brown patina. The barrel address has two screws added apparently for a rear sight. The frame has a dark mustard colored patina. The stock is original, but is refinished. This gun is all matching. This gun originally turned up in Missouri in 1990. This comes with the original receipt of sale. This is a very presentable Civil War Henry Rifle!
