Hammerless Sidelocks - For 145 years old this gun is in remarkable condition. Completed 1880 and signed \' J Blanch & Son 20 Gracechurch Street. London\', it\'s ready to go for another lifetime in the field. Well balanced between the hands and a nice weight, it points very naturally as a fine English gun should.
The 28inch damascus barrels are excellent. Bright and shiny on the inside. You don\'t often see damascus this old with such good wall thickness. Very \'shootable\' choking. Plenty of life left in her!
You can tell this gun was made properly. It closes with a good snap tight on face. The forend has this lovely long, engraved lever. Even the screws under the forend are engraved!
