Description:
Standard 20 inch round barrel carbine configuration chambered in 25-20 WCF caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Barrel and full length magazine tube retain most all of their original blue finish. Crisp clear markings on the barrel address and caliber marking. Sights include a pinned blade front and folding ladder rear. Receiver has about 70% blue with the balance having thinned to a smooth gray on the forward bottom and sides of the receiver possibly from being laid across a saddle for many miles. Hammer and lever are blued. Very crisp tight action. Walnut stock set is in very fine condition with scattered light handling mars. Most blue remains on the steel carbine style buttplate. A very good condition Winchester Model 92 carbine from 1921 with some light honest wear.
