The Remington Nylon 66 is a lightweight, semi-automatic rimfire rifle produced from 1959 to 1989, notable for its durable, all-Nylon stock made from DuPont Zytel polymer. Designed as an inexpensive, weather-resistant plinking rifle, it features a rear-loading tubular magazine in the buttstock, a steel receiver cover, a tang safety, and an action that is self-lubricating and doesn‚t require oil.
The Nylon 66 was fitted with leaf sights and a grooved receiver that could accommodate a mount for a telescopic sight. It was available in several colors, such as \"Mohawk Brown\", \"Apache Black\", and \"Seneca Green\".
