The Smith & Wesson Pre Model K-22 is a .22 LR, six-shot K-frame revolver built for precision target shooting, featuring a 6-inch pinned barrel, adjustable micrometer rear sight, a serrated ramp front sight, and a checkered walnut grip with a diamond emblem. Built before 1957, it is characterized by its hand-finished craftsmanship, five-screw frame, and a fully adjustable double-action/single-action trigger mechanism. This is a Pre-War 22 Long Rifle Pistol. Introduced in 1931 and refined into the "Masterpiece" version around 1947, it was intended for precision target shooting.
