56-56.....MARTIAL SPENCER MODEL 1865 LEVER ACTION CARBINE .... LAYAWAY?
These guns were extremely popular during the early post Civil War Indian uprisings. This example sports the Stabler cut off, round barrel stamped "M1865", Spencer legend on top of frame, post front sight, folding ladder rear sight, saddle ring and bar, walnut stock with metal buttplate, tube, swivel, and matching forearm. CONDITION: Very good to FINE overall.. All of the old reapplied blue is turning patina. Legends are sharp. Stocks fit nicely and are solid exhibiting sundry small dings. Mechanically sound. Bore is well defined with moderate abrasions.near muzzle. SN: 9563
