Amazingly nice example of a Remington manufactured A5 from the second war period. These were made for Browning, at the Remington plant, 1942-3.
This one is just back from the gunsmith. We had it dismantled and meticulously cleaned, as the action was glued shut from old oil. Also replaced the petrified pad with an appropriate Pachmayr White Line.
Wood matches and is crack-free.
Superb wood and metal finishes.
