Description:
This is a rare 20 gauge Fox Sterlingworth Deluxe field gun, with the added feature of automatic ejectors... The 26" barrels are choked skeet 1 and skeet 2. Chambers are 2 3/4", with excellent bores. Barrels are equipped with two ivory beads...14" length of pull over newer solid Noshoc pad..Stock drops are 1 3/4 and 2 3/4"...Weighs just under six pounds...Overall excellent condition...Barrels retain most of their blue finish...Case colors are mostly still there, with even some of the lacquer coating applied to protect the colors from fading...Very rare to see this lacoured frame finish left on a gun this old...Wood is in excellent condition, exhibiting a professional glossy refinish, with chekering finely recut...A one inch sliver of wood is missing from the left side of the forend. This cosmetic flaw will be fixed before gun is shipped to new owner...What a joy it is to see a classic american made field gun with so many desireable features...And in such wonderful condition, as well...It dont git much betta than this...
