Description:
1938 production winchester Model 42 shotgun in 410 bore. This example has a 28" plain barrel with a front bead sight and is marked on the left side "-WINCHESTER- / -WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-, -MODEL 42- WINCHESTER-/-TRADE MARK-410-3 IN. CHAM-" and marked "Full". The bottom of the receiver extension and receiver are both marked "33461". The bottom of the magazine tube and the receiver extension both have opposing indexing arrows. The top of the barrel and receiver both have Winchester proofs. The stocks are two piece walnut with a ribbed forend, flat-bottom pistol grip, straight comb and a black Winchester butt plate. .410 Bore
