"Serial No. 189522702 (Importer), manufactured 1939, 7.62x38mmR, 4.5" round barrel. This revolver was manufactured in 1939, just prior to the Soviet invasion of Finland and the escalation of World War II on the Eastern Front. The revolver has been arsenal refurbished, with the import mark noted on the left side of the receiver. Metal finish shows the standard blued refurbishment consistent with Soviet storage protocols. The grips are in very good overall condition, with light wear. Mechanically, the action indexes correctly, and the revolver maintains a tight lockup. This revolver comes complete with a brown leather Soviet-style holster, cleaning rod, and lanyard.
