Prewar 1936 Winchester model 42 Skeet model wearing a solid ribbed barrel and a factory installed Skeet Cutts compensator. High grade fancy American Walnut furniture with factory hand cut checkering. English type straight gripped stock for fast handling. Mr. J.S. Teague campaigned with this Winchester in the late 1930s throughout the country winning many small bore events. Action is tight and cycles as intended, mirror bore with beautiful vine scroll engarving.
