These are impossible to find and this is the gun that you build an entire model 70 collection around. Not only is it an extremely rare gun, but it has some of the nicest wood that I've ever seen on a model 70. Every single thing checks out on this rifle and I have taken it apart and photographed the bottom of the barrel. The stamping are 100% correct and every 9mm should have a 1935 barrel. It was made in 1941 and saw very little use since. There are no handling marks at all to the wood but there are three tiny places on the left side behind the action that the finish flaked off. The bluing is just about 100% with the exception of the trigger guard and that's just natural flaking from these pre war guns. It's still by far the nicest example that I believe is in existence. As always with everything that I sell, this rifle is guaranteed to be in 100% factory original condition or your money back. Shipping and ins will be $99 and to FFL or C and R license holder only. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or request anymore photos. Price: $16,900.00 |
