W. Bond Flintlock Dueling Pistol Very Fine Cased Pair of Engraved William Bond Flintlock Dueling Pistols
W. Bond Flintlock Dueling Pistols, These dueling pistols from William Thomas Bond of London feature smoothbore, Damascus, swamped round barrel with flat top. LOMBARD-STRT.-LONDON--" signed on the top flats, and bands of foliate engraving at the breech ends. The standing breeches feature foliate engraving. The locks have light floral engraving, frizzen spring rollers, and stepped tails.
They pistols are equipped with single set triggers. The trigger guards and ramrod pipes are blued steel that has a brown patina, and the former features stylized pineapple finials and floral and martial engraving. The full-length stocks have checkered wrists with smooth side panels. The pair comes in a fitted case with a William Bond trade label, rods, oiler, leather wrapped ball and powder flask, screwdriver, marked ball mold. (See pictures).. email for more pictures
