This Husqvarna Model 38 was manufactured in 1943. This rifle was manufactured from the start as an M38. This was not an M36 converted. We find that this rifle's receiver, and all bolt parts have matching serial numbers.
Chambered in 6.5X55 Swedish, it has a 24" non-threaded barrel. The bore condition of this rifle is like new. This rifle's beech stock is in excellent condition. We find only minimal handling marks with no cracks. Buttstock retains its original arsenal disk. Arsenal disk does report an unmarked bore condition meaning "best possible." We find little to no evidence of being fired since its import. The bolt head retains evidence of grease from the arsenal.We would recommend this be cleaned up before firing.
